New Car PricesWhile new car price guides such as the NADA one can be helpful, they don't provide "real world" prices like your local dealer or the dealer within driving distance that can offer you the exact same vehicle for much less. I know from personal experience. I drove 80 miles to buy my last vehicle and saved over one thousand dollars for taking the journey. All too often people spend too little time just looking around and doing the smallest bit of research before making the second largest purchase in their lives. And this isn't a house or condo that normally appreciates in value, but a vehicle which will most assuredly decrease in value beginning the moment it is driven off the dealer's lot. With the skyrocketing price of fuel causing the cost of literally everything to go up, can you really afford not to get the best price on your next car? I will also take this opportunity to share my new belief that you should look for a quality low mileage used car and not take the financial hit from buying a new one. Everything is cheaper when buying a used car and it's already been on the road so any glitches can be examined and publicized online at least.
